(31) Days of GOOD is BACK!!!

The holiday season is here, it's time to layer up and get your best if the year lists ready. My favorite music blogs and magazines start hashing out their "best of" lists. Last year I started doing (31) Days of GOOD and collaborated with my friends Billy and Andrew to put together the years best throughout the month of December, and (31) Days was born. Billy is now booming with musical GOODness with his own blog, CONCRETE OPINIONS-based out of the LA area-so we are collaborating again this year to bring you our favorite songs of 2010 and (31) Days of Good .

Not much has changed for 2010. During the month of December, we'll again bring you our favorite songs from the past year. There really isn't an order or rank for the songs, we simply pick our favorites and hope you enjoy them as much as we do. The only difference this year is we'll each be doing our own (31) Days of Good, which means more music for all of you. There was so much good new music this year, I'm sure we'll miss some (and we'll definitely overlap on a few), but you'll still get a hefty dosage of music. Enjoy.

Stay tuned!

Exit Strategy

Banksy's film exit through the gift shop was released on DVD this week and is easily found for free if you use torrents. The film was smart and refreshing; it gives a great history of modren street art-showcasing Shepard Fairey, and becomes a movie about a guy trying to make a movie about the elusive Banksy. Banksy creates a monster with the "director", Thierry aka Mr. Brain Wash aka MBW, and becomes the director himself. But check it out, great movie with some dope art.

And another awesome film brought to you by the people at Contagious, about branding, marketing, advertising, and creativity. Check this out, I posted the trailer earlier but this is the full version.

Gigantes

The victory parade for the SF Giants is today at 11am, should be fun, and the opportunity of a lifetime for Giants fans. If your in the bay or close this will definitely be worth the crowds. Where else, aside from Vegas, can you drink a beer and smoke a joint simultaneously while standing next to a cop, while watching the streets explode with mayhem? Nowhere, so get out there and post some shit on youtube, because I have to go to school... lame, I know.
The only bad part of this parade is that creep Gavin Newsome is going to be presenting the Giants with the key to the city at the end of the parade. (he likes to cheat on his wife with his best friends wife) But Newsome did announce that the parade will follow the same route taken by the team when they came from NY in 1958. That's pretty cool, but I doubt Gavin came up with it.

And I don't need to say to take BART or MUNI right, anyone thinking they could drive or find parking is a maniac on a day like today.
Have fun, be safe, and drink a lot in public for me, because it's already crowded as F. Enjoy

Life: by Keith Richards

Described as “the definitive rock autobiography,” Keith Richards’ new book, LIFE, covers his early days listening obsessively to Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters records, his meteoric rise to fame with The Rolling Stones, and the rock star lifestyle that made him infamous. It also chronicles how he created the revolutionary, high-octane riffs that defined songs like “Gimme Shelter” and “Honky Tonk Woman.” LIFE, written by Keith Richards and James Fox, will be available at Louisvuitton.com, as well as the following Louis Vuitton locations: Fifth Avenue (NYC), Rodeo Drive (LA), Bal Harbour (Miami), Union Square (San Francisco), and City Center (Las Vegas).
